Rachel Caro (Patterson) has studied art, early childhood education, and wildlife science. She has culminated all of these elements in her first book, The Travel Edition, which follows the adventures of a giraffe across the globe and is suitable for all ages.
With a waterproof camera always on hand, Rachel is focused on the conservation of threatened and endangered species and habitats, as well as soaking up as much knowledge as the natural world offers. She does this through seasonal projects, volunteering, work stays, and outdoor adventures. And she consistently welcomes dirt under her fingernails.
